I'm from CT - the land of Letterboxing opportunity - and from 10/2/04 through 10/31/04, I found a total of 192 boxes due to the Monster Mash Gathering. (and a Needeep - Hi Lenny! Still in hybernation?) : )) About 125 boxes were planted in Mansfield and were going to be pulled at the end of the month - not to mention the multitude of full time boxes that are planted there! The record in one day for me that month was 54.

letterboxing. That's certainly impressive (but also maybe compulsive and obsessive)! LOL
We wonder if anyone can anyone top this?

I find on an average almost 80 boxes a month, (1000 per year). During the Monster Mash, I found 154 boxes in Mansfield. Since I had many of the Mansfield boxes already, I didn't do as many full time boxes during that month. My highest count was 32 in one day, which was in Pomfret.
